Today I take Tuesday off from all backstage coverage to host Total Beauty Live — an online show where a celebrity makeup artist and I answer questions live on the web. While I’ve been on TV before, I’ve never done a live taping, and I’m super nervous. I just hope I don’t start visibly sweating on camera. After I get over my initial jitters, the show is a lot of fun and goes really well. (Thank you if you logged on!) Plus, it’s nice to take a break from the frantic pace of backstage.

Before heading home, I make one more stop at Lincoln Center. If you’re a Rachel Zoe fan, you’ll appreciate why: to meet Joey Maalouf! He is a character, and talks exactly the same as how he does on TV. Also, Joey has ah-mazing skin, so it makes sense that he teamed up with the skin care line Dr. LeWinn by Kinerase for Fashion Week. When I get a chance to speak with him, he tells me all about the importance of keeping your skin hydrated — especially when you’re working like crazy. Apparently, Joey rubs himself down from head to toe with lotion constantly. Maybe I should start doing that?
