Fashion Week may look like a lot of fun, but for the people putting the shows together, it’s serious business and they go to extreme lengths to have things perfect.

One example: for the Jason Wu show, CND founder Jan Arnold flew in her best manicurists from all over the world — Puerto Rico, England, you name it — just to do nails for this show. (CND partnered with Jason Wu for a polish collection.)

And then for Carolina Herrera, hairstylist Orlando Pita created custom hair clips by gluing hair to barrettes. He matched the models hair exactly and said it took him days to complete (before the show obviously).
