Crazy: Milk Fabric

These days you can make fabric out of anything — and I mean ANYTHING. Try bark wood, seaweed, old fishing nets, and cigarette butts to name a few. But, milk fabric seems to have stolen the show at the moment.

Created by German biologist and fashion designer, Anke Domaske, the fabric is made from proteins found in milk that is later solidified and pounded into threads. Apparently, the fabric has a silky feel, but is cheaper than silk.
