No woman looks good with mascara running down her face. Trust me. To make sure this doesn’t happen to you, I spoke with Miami-based makeup artist Marissa Nemes about the best rainy day makeup.

Face: “Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush, $25, is great waterproof blush. Though it’s a powder, it doesn’t budge. It gives you a beautiful glow, and you don’t have to worry that your blush will fade or streak.”

Eyes: “I really love Make Up For Ever Aqua Shadow, $20. It’s like the chubby pencil and comes in an array of colors with pearly and matte finishes. The shadow is creamy to the touch, and the entire ‘Aqua’ line is completely waterproof. If you need a waterproof mascara, go for the tried and true, Maybelline Great Lash in Waterproof, $5.19.”

Lips: “For Miami Fashion Week, I used Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip, $24. It’s a lip liner, but I used it over the entire lip. You can also try Make Up For Ever Aqua Rouge, $24, which is super intense — almost like a lip stain. Both of these products will stay put for at least eight hours.”
