Tip No. 7: Layer your prints for a softer look
Want an even subtler print look? Layer your prints with solids, so only a small fraction of each pattern shows. For example, wear a solid cardigan over a printed blouse, and then button the cardigan so it hides most of the print. Then you can wear a pair of printed shoes or a printed messenger bag without fear of clashing. And you can always unbutton the cardigan mid-day if you’re feeling brave.
