Flip Out

Want a ’60s-inspired style for shoulder-length hair? Look no further than Jackie Kennedy. This look is reminiscent of the former First Lady, especially in how the ends flip up. To get this look, celebrity stylist Mika Fowler recommends applying a firm-hold foam, like Joico JoiWhip, $10, to the bottom of your hair, then curling the ends with a 1 1/2-inch curling iron — just rolling the hair a few inches up. Once curled, ease the flip by separating the ends lightly with your fingers.
