Odd Secrets from Fashion Week

Rsession tools fashion week

OMG, I want one

Hairstylists and makeup artists use Fashion Week to try out new products and tools. The result: we drool over stuff that won’t be available for six months or so. Sigh …

Here are few of the products and tools we’re most excited about (some of them you actually can buy now, woohoo):

At Whitney Eve the stylists were using The Vidal Sassoon Waving Iron, $29.95 to get beachy waves. It was definitely one of the best waving irons we’ve seen since it gives large loose waves instead of odd crimps like other irons.

Backstage at Rosa Cha, MAC makeup artist Nadine Luke used a new pencil called Hi-Def Cyan (basically a vivid neon blue) that will be part of the spring collection. It was one of the most eye-catching shades we saw all week and would be great to brighten eyes and punch up your look for spring.

Backstage at Nicole Miller, hairstylists Kevin Ryan and Frank Rizzieri used Rsession Tools Pin Point Straightening Iron, $79.99 to flip out the girls’ ends, but showed us how you can also use it to make hair straight, wavy or curly.
