Day 28: Curly Cute?
I used to agonize over my naturally curly hair. To the point that I would use an actual iron to straighten it into a frizzy, horrid mess! So this look is an ode to the old me from seventh grade who should have just gone with it — not doing so resulted in some blackmail-worthy yearbook pics.
Get the Look:
Use either hot rollers or a self-made “set” using a curling iron and roller pins to roll your hair into vertical sections. Allow your hair to cool completely. Remove the rollers (or the set pins) then shake your head vigorously to release the curls. They will be very tight to begin with but be patient — they will begin to fall over time. Mist all over with a shine spray, then run your fingers through the curls and tug at the ends. For extra volume flip your head upside down and rub your roots.
