Mandy Moore’s sky high bun is so feminine and makes you look totally graceful, even if you’re not a real ballerina. Here’s how Zinno says to get this look:

1. Prep your hair by applying a volumizing mousse to damp hair. Roughly blow dry hair using your hands — the hair needs a roughed-up texture, so it should not be blown out perfectly smooth.



2. Lightly backcomb hair at the roots all around the hair, and then pull hair into a high ponytail up at the crown, lightly smoothing with a brush as you go.



3. Secure the ponytail with an elastic, and use a teasing comb to backcomb the pony as well. Then loosely wrap hair around the base of the ponytail, and pin as you go using bobby pins.



4. Tug at the bun to loosen it up a bit, and mist all over with strong-hold hairspray to finish.
