1. With hair this long, you’ll need to use a curling product to make sure the curl stays in place, Grmolyes says. Apply a curl cream to damp hair and let it dry naturally.



2. Wrap small sections of hair around a curl stick or curling iron, leaving the ends out. The key to this look is curling the hair in the same direction to get a loose, not-so-perfect, beachy wave that starts from mid-shaft.



3. Don’t curl your bangs if they’re that short. Instead, smooth them to the side with a round brush and blow dryer.



4. Mist your waves with a lightweight hairspray to finish.
