Essie created this look for Philip Lim, and according to Essie Weingarten (Essie’s founder), “This graphic nail design is dramatic, yet incredibly wearable.” All you need are three different colored polishes.

Begin by painting the nails with a coat of black polish. Once dry, add a thin stripe of gray along the side of the nail. Finally, paint a white crescent moon alongside the gray stripe. Since you’re dealing with thin stripes, we suggest using a detailing brush. Finish with a topcoat.
