A dose of bronzy shimmer gives your eyes a gorgeous warm glow. If the metallic smoky eye is too dramatic for the evening you have planned, try a bronzy shadow instead. This will easily take you from afternoon brunch to happy hour. Celebrity makeup artist Kimara Ahnert tells us how to get the look:

1. First, apply a primer to your eyelid so the shadow will stay put.

2. Using a brush, apply a golden bronzy shadow like Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Half Baked, $18, all over the lid and into the crease.

3. Next, apply a crystal white shadow like, Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Polyester Bride, $18, to highlight the brow bone and inner corner of your eyes.

4. Finish by using the golden bronze shadow as a smudged liner on your lower lash line.
