Day 1: Leopard print

Everyone in the office is currently obsessed with this trend, so of course we had to make it the first look in our nail art challenge. We went with a muted color palette to make the look more sophisticated and less “Jersey Shore.”

What we used:

Milani Nail Lacquer in Bare With Me, $4

Milani Nail Art Lacquer with Precision Brush in White Canvas, $3.99

Milani Nail Art Lacquer with Precision Brush in Black Sketch, $3.99

Sparitual True Bond Topcoat, $15

How we got the look:

Step 1. Anna started by painting my nail base with a light pink polish. (You can apply two coats for a more opaque look.)

Step 2. After allowing the polish to dry, she painted on several splotches of white on each nail.

Step 3. Once the white spots dried, she used the fine-tipped black brush to draw a thin, uneven line around the outline of each spot.

Step 4. To finish, Anna applied a clear topcoat over the look to seal it.
