The girls at the Timo Weiland show had a “sunburned” look, which I’ll admit doesn’t sound super appealing. But it’s actually quite pretty, and James Boehmer, Nars Director of Global Artistry, points out that it’s a lot more natural looking than bronzer. He says bronzer can make your face look flat, while a red-hued blush gives you a more natural flush, and is more flattering on all skin tones.

To get this sunburned vibe, apply a reddish-pink blush like Nars Blush in Zen, $27, all over your cheeks and up into your temples. Go easy on the rest of your face — just a light coat of mascara and a dusty pink lipstick.
