Beauty Dare: Makeup in the Dark

Before the challenge: “I didn’t think it would be too difficult since we do apply our makeup every day. And there wasn’t a time limit, so I figured I could take as long as I needed to get the eyeliner just right, which was what I worried about most.”

The hardest part: “Once the lights went out, I realized how confused and helpless I was in the dark and how dependent I was on using a mirror. Drawing in my eyebrows was the most difficult because my brows are extremely sparse. I had to fill in the entire brow from beginning to end, and I knew there was no way I would be able to get the arch right. So I just kind of swished my brush back and forth and hoped for the best.”

Her results: “Other than my eyebrows (thank you fringe!), my makeup was decently applied. If wearing blush down to your mouth is on trend, then I’m good to go.”
