To make these sweet shorts, all you need is a fabric doily, scissors, and a needle and thread. On each side of your shorts, cut out a small triangle of denim; this is where the doily will go. Place the doily on top of the missing triangle, and cut out another triangle (a little bigger than the original) from the fabric. To get a cleaner look, you may want to cut along the shapes already in the doily. Once you have your fabric triangle, attach it to the shorts with a needle and thread, or with a sewing machine.
