Most of the filming was done at an abandoned Philip Morris factory in North Carolina. Petenbrink says it had some pros and cons. Pro: It was pretty secluded so there were no paparazzi running around. Con: Abandoned factories are kinda creepy.

“The whole crew wasn’t there when we were working. It felt abandoned and a little haunted,” she says. “We used to use the buddy system when we went to the bathroom, no one wanted to walk around alone.”
