Behind the Scenes of a Photo Shoot

Sebastian photo shoot

Suffer for Beauty

I admit it — I am one of those girls who think modeling is not hard work. But as I stand in my flats watching the photo shoot, I reconsider my position. The model in front of me is wearing sky-high heels, a skin-tight body suit (which doesn’t seem very bathroom friendly), and has spent a night with her hair in impossibly uncomfortable styling tools.

My lower back hurts after 20 minutes in my flats, but this model just stands there and doesn’t say a word. Oh yeah, and she has to do this all day — or at least until 9 p.m. when Milk Studios kick the whole crew out.

One more thing: The model has to live with the look from the shoot. She may love her long hair, but if they decide to cut or dye it, which almost always happens, she doesn’t get a say.
