Step 1: Blow dry hair straight, using a round brush. Be sure to curve the ends like Underwood’s.



Step 2: As soon as it’s dry, set hair on medium Velcro rollers. Roll three along the top (roll these backward), two on each side and three in the back (roll these under). “As hair cools and ‘rests’ it will form to the roller,” Hawkins says. “Hair is very malleable after it’s been heated up.”



Step 3: Remove rollers once they’re cool.



Step 4: Back comb on top for height, and bobby- pin hair back into a mini dome.



Step 5: Mist with hairspray.
