Jessica Simpson usually wears her long, blonde hair down, but we love this thick, gorgeous braid on her. It’s so easy to do, and it looks great with any outfit. Here’s how to get it:

1. The braid will hold best if your hair isn’t too clean and slippery, so don’t shower the night before you try this style.



2. Rub a dollop of thickening mousse into your hair and comb it through.



3. Gather all of your hair loosely to one side and start braiding it. Make sure you angle the braid over your shoulder.



4. When you reach the end of your braid, secure it with a clear elastic. Use your fingers to tug at the braid to loosen it a bit, and mist all over with strong-hold hairspray to finish.
