Kate Hudson always looks flawless, but her hair looks super glamorous styled in soft, subtle waves. It’s so 1940’s of her, and it’s a great way to style long hair. Here’s how to get it:

1. Give yourself a deep side part — apply a bit of gel to the top of your head and slick it down.



2. Using hot rollers, wrap up the bottom half of your hair only (you want to keep the top of your head nice and smooth), and pin the rollers to your head using a bobby pins.



3. Once the rollers are cool, take them out and brush through your curls until they loosen into waves.



4. Put a dollop of styling cream on your palms and gently run them over your waves to tame any frizzies.
