natalie portman french twist

Romantic French twist

Natalie Portman’s complicated French twist will have your guy oohing and ahhing over you. Here’s how Grmolyes says to get the look:

1. She says this look will work best on longer hair. Apply styling mousse (with extra hold) to damp hair and brush it through well.

2. You want a really good base so the pins will stick. Tease the entire back section of your hair with a teasing comb. Use a paddle brush to smooth out the hair on one side, and bring it back. Secure it by lining up the hair with bobby pins. Smooth out the other side of your hair, and bring it to the middle of the hair.

3. Next, twist the hair inward and use hairpins to pin along the whole twist. As you twist to the left, the hair will automatically stick. As soon as you put hairpins in, it should feel very secure, Grmolyes says.

4. Some of your ends might come out of the top of your head, but just tuck the hair in at the top and secure with another hairpin. Finish the look with a generous amount of strong-hold hairspray.
