1. Apply a medium strength sculpting gel to wet hair. Create a deep side part.

2. Use a boar bristle paddle brush and blow dry your hair. Focus on blow drying your hair flat and close to the head.

3. After your hair is dry, spray hair with a shine serum and a medium-hold hairspray.

4. With a 1 1/4-inch curling iron, curl your hair in 2-inch sections until all your hair is curled.

5. Lightly brush out the curls into smooth waves.

6. Place your finger where the curl dips inward. Spray area with a strong-hold hairspray and use a bobby pin to set the wave. Place the bobby pin horizontally where the curl goes inward.

7. After all the waves have been set, finish by spraying the entire look with strong-hold hairspray. Remove the bobby pins. If you have longer hair, simply follow these steps, but create a faux bob at the end like Lauren Conrad.
