But this 6-year-old girl from Australia blows us all away. She has an incredible talent for makeup and could easily do out do most adults with her skills.

Her name is Bella-Rose, and she’s from Adelaide. She shares her tutorials online with the help of her friend Emily Govan, an MUA, who shares her work on Instagram and YouTube.

Govan, 22, recently told Buzzfeed that she loved makeup since she was little and always knew she wanted to make a career out of it.

“I have loved makeup from such a young age and can even remember applying my mum’s lipstick when I would play dress-up,” she said.

After getting her cosmetology diploma, she began to follow more and more makeup artists online. She said she decided to share her work too, thinking, “If they can show what they love doing to the world why can’t I?”

“As I gained more followers I became more passionate about makeup, from the way the products apply, to the formulations, everything about it, I love the transformation,” she said.

She now has over 180K Instagram followers and 4K YouTube Subscribers and shares her makeup tutorials with all of them under the name Emily Louise. One of her biggest fans is Bella-Rose, who is the younger sister of Govan’s close friend Danika.

“Bella has been around when I’ve filmed and applied makeup and is absolutely fascinated by it,” Govan said. “Her mum has told me that she would walk into her room, and she would be on the iPad watching my Instagram videos and YouTube tutorials.”

It was in December that Govan and Danika decided to surprise Bella-Rose for her birthday and give her a day of “filming and makeup”, but were shocked at how good the little girl was at doing her makeup.

“A little guidance was needed when it came to where the product went and why but she knew exactly how to hold the brush and only needed to be shown once,” Govan said. “She is so sassy and knew how to work the camera — she even knows all of the social media lingo.”

She added that she thought Bella-Rose just picked up her skills on her own.

“She simply learnt from watching myself, her mum, sister, and beauty influencers,” she said. “Just like kids watched Peppa pig, she watched makeup tutorials.”

It’s amazing what you can learn from YouTube tutorials these days. Since picking up her, skill Govan has featured Bella-Rose on her pages quite a few times. Her recent video is the highlighter challenge which you can view below.

you must be as empty as this poor child’s mother!

  • Randi Brooks

Completely sick,it’s the epitome of the horrible influence of the mainstreaming of sexist,girl-hating,and woman-hating,degrading harmful pornography that reduces teen girls, women and now little girls into nothing but sex objects to please men,and teaches them to see themselves this way! It’s sexualization of little girls like they are adult women too!

    • Donna Stack

I totally agree Randi! She’s only 6 years old! There’s definitely adult influence here. When she says, “Mommy can I play with your makeup?” Mom should have said “Not until your older” This little girls skin is way too sensitive for grown up make up!! Who wears the pants

While I can agree with Donna that her skin’s too sensitive, I’m gonna have to say that the one being sexist, Randi, is you. Since when has make-up become the tools for women to solely please men?

Idk about other women but as I’m applying mascara, I’m not thinking “Oh I wonder if Steve will like my lashes”

The main reason women wear makeup is not for the pleasure of men but to boost their own confidence and feel beautiful the way they should.

Heaven forbid a woman should actually love herself! Honestly, men need to get off their high-horses. The idea that they should be treated as sex objects simply because they want to feel beautiful…

    Horrible and unnecessary!
