OMG, are you obsessed with “Gossip Girl” too? Truth be told, we could care less about Serena’s latest drama or Blaire’s antics — for us, it’s all about the hair. Seriously, all the women in the main cast are rocking some majorly steal-worthy hairstyles.
Before you call us crazy, we’re not the only ones who think the hair is the glue holding the whole thing together. Celebrity hairstylist Andy LeCompte, who’s done Leighton Meester and Blake Lively’s hair, says: “Having gorgeous, luxurious hair is very much part of the show.” (See? Told ya.)
Of course, even in real life the “Gossip Girl” cast knows how to bring it, just with a few key differences. “On the show they’re very posh and perfect. But when they’re out and dressed up, the actresses still have beautiful hair, but they tend to be a little more experimental, it’s their chance to show their own style,” LeCompte says. “You’ll see they often wear styles that from the front view are pretty and polished, then when they turn around, there’s cool, fun texture happening.”
