OK, so I caved and rinsed my hair last night. The oil was just too much for me to handle. But I didn’t shampoo, so I’m still technically in the running! I braided it while it was still damp and slept on it overnight. This morning, I take the braids out and spritz my loose waves with Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Hairspray, $4.29 and shake them out with my fingers. Then I pull back the top half and clip it in place. A typical “at the office” hairstyle, and it looks cleaner than I thought it would at this point in the week.
