Dianna Agron may look like the (seemingly) perfect cheerleader on “Glee,” but in real life, her hair’s a bit more rocker chic. Angelo David of the Angelo David Salon in New York City, shows you how to get this style:

1. Apply a volumizing spray to wet hair.

2. Part hair in the middle and roughly dry your hair with a blow dryer.

3. If your bangs aren’t choppy enough, grab a triangular section in the front of the hair and create the additional texture using texturizing shears. (And if you’re not comfortable cutting your own bangs, head to your local salon.)

4. Run hands through your hair to get that tousled look, and sweep bangs to the side.

5. Finish the look with a strong-hold hairspray, like L’Oreal Texture Expert Infinium 3, $20.
