Hair Dare: 5 Minute Hairstyles

Beachy Waves

Who tried it: Tracy, Social Media Coordinator

Time it took: 4 minutes, 50 seconds

What you need: Gel, an elastic, bobby pins

How to get it:

1. Apply a light-hold setting gel to your hair while it’s still damp, says Barrett. Then divide your hair into two sections down the middle. Create another part across the crown to create four total sections.

2. Quickly braid each section (it doesn’t have to be a perfect braid). Twist it around and bobby pin it to your head. Put on a scarf and allow it to dry overnight.

3. In the morning, release the buns and rake your fingers through your waves to separate them. If you have extra time, you can make two or three tiny braids on either side for a beachy vibe, says Barrett.

4. Mist your waves with salt spray and scrunch them with your fingers.
